Membership Terms & Conditions
The Beacon
Pharmacy & Wellness Membership Program is a loyalty program owned and provided
by Beacon Premier Pharmacy & Wellness Sdn Bhd and it applies to all Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness
outlet(s) in Malaysia. This agreement is made and agreed to between you and Beacon
Pharmacy & Wellness.
By applying for Membership, you hereby AGREE
to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. MEMBERSHIP
1.1 Membership application is open to individuals who are aged 18 years and above by providing name, date of birth (D.O.B), NRIC number, mobile phone number and email address at any of the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness Outlet(s) in Malaysia.
1.2 You may also apply for Membership from
Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness’s website or Mobile APP via Apple Store and
Google Play.
1.3 You are only entitled to one
Membership and all Points collected are strictly not transferable.
1.4 Membership cards will not be issued.
1.5 Membership points are also known as
“Wellness Points” (“WP”).
1.6 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness
reserves the right to waive, add or amend the Membership terms and conditions
(“Terms and Conditions”) without prior notice. Any new or amended Terms and
Conditions will supersede the then existing Terms and Conditions.
2. WELLNESS POINTS
2.1 ONE (1) Wellness point (“Point or
Points”) (WP) will be awarded for every RM1.00 spent in a single transaction.
2.2 The earning of wellness points will be
based on the total rounded amount purchased in a single receipt. Accumulation
of previous receipts for Points collection is prohibited.
2.3 Wellness points are earned after every
purchase and the current wellness points balance will be printed on the receipt
for such purchase.
2.4 For accumulation of Wellness points, details such as name, NRIC or the registered phone number of the Member are required to be verified upon every purchase, failing, of which no Wellness Points will be captured.
2.5 For redemption of Wellness points, the
PIN is required, for example NRIC number or mobile phone number. Members
reserve the right to change to their preferred pin for security reasons.
2.6 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness has the
right to cancel the Wellness points awarded if products purchased are exchanged
unless the exchange is for products with the equivalent value.
2.7 Wellness points awarded and/or
redeemed may be reversed and/or cancelled if Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness determines
that the wellness points were not earned and/or redeemed in accordance with the
Terms and Conditions stated herein and/or due to any system error.
2.9 No
Wellness points will be awarded for any transaction made for selected items of
any brands or promotional items sold at Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness store, website;
www.beaconpharmacy.com.my and mobile APP.
2.10 Wellness points earned are strictly not transferable.
3. INSTANT REBATES VIA WELLNESS POINTS REDEMPTION
3.1 Wellness points earned can be used to
offset purchases at any Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness outlet(s) with every 200 Points
redeemable at RM1.00. Points earned can also be used to redeem products or
services for free.
3.2 Redemption of Wellness points will be processed after the application details for redemption have been received by Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness. Once redemption has been accepted by Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness, it cannot be cancelled, exchanged or returned.
3.3 Points and voucher redemptions (such as birthday vouchers and etc,) are only available for redemption at the store location and not available for online redemption.
3.4 Wellness points cannot be exchanged
for cash.
3.5 Wellness points cannot be redeemed
until they are credited into the Membership account of the Member. Points will
be recorded in the Member’s account only after Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness has
notified the details of the relevant transaction in which Points are issued.
3.6 Points redemption is subject to the
Member complying with the procedures for redemption.
4. MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION
4.1 Members may terminate the use of the
Membership at any time by notification to us via email to enquiry@beaconpharmacy.com.my. Membership account will be
terminated within 30 days upon receipt of any notice and past purchase history
and earned Points will be cancelled and deleted.
4.2 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness may its sole and absolute discretion terminate, suspend or cancel a Membership at any time with or without prior notice and with or without cause.
5. MEMBERS' BENEFITS
5.1 Free Membership – Auto-renewable membership.
5.2 Instant redemption with Wellness points
5.3 Members’ Specials – Enjoy an exclusive discount on selected products.
5.4 Exclusive Vouchers – You will receive exclusive members’ vouchers which can be used at Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness
5.5 Entitle to One Free session of Dietician’s assessment and consultation upon signing the membership (by appointment basis)
5.6 Mystery birthday gift
5.7 Track Purchases – You may check your purchase history at any of the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness outlet(s)
5.8 Email or Whatapps updates – You will receive regular updates through email or whatapps about in-store activities and special promotions.
5.9 Other Benefits & Special Privileges with other Beacon Affiliates.
6. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY

7. GENERAL
7.1 The Membership remains the property of
Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness at all times.
7.2 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness may at
its discretion at any time, terminate the Membership by giving thirty (30)
calendar days’ notice.
7.3 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness (including its successors, assigns, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, affiliates and subsidiaries) and the participating Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness outlet(s) shall not be liable to you or any third party authorized by or claiming through you for any loss, damage, cost, expenses, actions, suits, claims and demand whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, of loss of business, the revenue of profits or any nature suffered by you or any person for any loss, damage or injury caused or suffered by a person arising from the usage of the Membership.
7.4 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness shall
hold no liability if a Membership application is rejected for any reason
whatsoever.
7.5 Any dispute regarding the Points and
services must be directed to Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness outlet(s) and/or
enquiry@beaconpharmacy.com.my within seven (7) days of the said dispute in
writing.
7.6 The Terms and Conditions are governed
by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. You hereby
expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.
7.7 If any of the provisions herein contained should be invalid, illegal or unenforceable under any applicable law, the legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions should not be affected.
7.8 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness has the final authority as to the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions and as to any other questions or disputes regarding the Membership.
7.9 Beacon
Pharmacy & Wellness shall not be liable for any loss or damage in the event
of a system halt or non-performance of the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness as a
result of the following causes:
7.9.1 The servers are down for maintenance
with relevant notice posted on the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness’s website
7.9.2 Data communication fails as a result
of telecommunication equipment failure;
7.9.3 The Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness’s system fails due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including typhoon, earthquake,
tsunami, flooding, electrical power failure, war, acts of terrorism, and other force majeure incidents.
7.9.4 Service is interrupted or delayed for reasons such as hacker attacks, technical adjustments or system breakdowns on the part of
telecommunication providers, website upgrades, technical difficulties with banking systems, etc.
7.10 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time when it is reasonably considered necessary to do so. Reasonable notice shall be posted on Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness’s official website as a notification of the said amendment(s). Your continued usage of the Membership after any amendment(s) to the Terms and Conditions shall constitute your acceptance of such amendment(s).
7.11 Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness shall
not be liable for any loss or inconvenience faced by you as a result of the
amendment(s) of these Terms and Conditions.
7.12 All communications and/or
correspondences by Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness are either by way of
notification through Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness’s official website and/or
the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness outlet(s), advertisements and/or any other
media deemed fit. Any such notification shall immediately supersede the previous
communication and/or correspondence with regard to the same matter unless it is
expressed and clearly stated otherwise.
7.13 Any notice to be given pursuant to
these terms and conditions shall be sufficiently sent to you by way of
notification at the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness outlet(s) and/or publication
on the Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness’s official website
7.14 Any communications to be given by you to Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness in relation to these Terms and Conditions can be made by sending it in writing either via email to enquiry@beaconpharmacy.com.my.
7.15 All Rewards and Gift Vouchers are subject to availability and further subject to all applicable legal rules and the terms and conditions (including priority level, selection criteria and limitations of liability) as imposed by Beacon Pharmacy & Wellness.
